One thousand years ago, a sorceror named Oz-Nay defended the realm along with his guardian deity Zenki. When he retired, he fears that no one else could control Zenki, and thus he sealed him away in a stone monument on the family grounds. Flash forward to present time, where Cherry, a young sorceress and direct descendent of Oz-Nay, has been developing her powers under the guidance of her grandmother, but knows about Zenki's powers and also the incantation to free him. One day Cherry's life is threatened by a monster created by a "Seed of Evil." In a last attempt, Cherry calls out the incantation that frees Zenki. He saves her life, but Cherry can barely control this fearless guardian thanks to her grandmother's bracelet that transforms Zenki into a small boy immediately after defeating an enemy.moreless
I didn't watch this show that much to know many details about it, but from what I managed to see, I think it's fantastic. Zenki's great, but they could've made him a lot better. They could've made him look a lot more magical than that. The connection between him and Cherry isn't suitable at all: Cherry is a sweet little girl, and Zenki's a brutal and harsh piece of work! The monsters that Zenki has to fight are really cool and powerful, and that's one of the main things why I loved and watched this show in the first place! An excellent work, with 10/10 from me!moreless
