Zone of the Enders

Show Summary

James Links is a 49-year-old space trucker waiting to return to Earth and reunite with his children Leon and Noel. While transporting some items to Earth, he falls upon Dolores, a highly advanced Orbital Frame with an A.I. of unknown origin. Soon, inspectors board his space ship looking for the Orbital Frame. A fight breaks out, and they are murdered, but James, who is innocent, is wanted for the crime! Then when it seems nothing could get any worse, Leon and Noel are wanted by the authorities as well because they are James' children. As fugitives running from the law, James, Leon, and Noel must make sure Dolores does not fall into the wrong hands, for she holds the key to finding James' wife, Dr. Rachel Links. The three have a long and hard journey ahead of them, as they soon get involved in more than a simple search for missing woman...

For the record, I absolutely never click with mecha anime.

    Until now, that is.

I fell head over heels in love with this show.

    It had everything.

Captivating plot, comedy, drama, romance, action.

It should appeal to anyone and everyone.

Heck, I loved it so much I actually went out and bought the whole show on dvd.

    It was an excellent ride.

The main characters are very unique in their personalities and each and every one of them brings something to the table.

In most anime there is always just one main character you hate, but I tried to pick one out of this group and even if you hate them for a moment, they always completely redeem themselves later on.

This show receives a big recommendation from me.

I'm truly sad for it to be over.moreless

This Anime only has two movies out that i know of. I first found out about the Enders throught the first Z.O.E for ps2. i was Pleased with the gameplay of the first installment, that when the second game came out, i was really taken back how they gave it the whole anime cut scenes to make me feel like i was in a actual anime series. I later tried to find dvds about Z.O.E and found IDOLO. The anime was really clean looking, similiar to Fullmetal Alchemist. I am still trying to find the second movie calles Deloris. If funimation and or manga decide to make a series about this, i am sure it would be a absolute smash.moreless
