    Tragic.

    Absolutely tragic.

It starts off really action packed with some light romance.

Not a lot of humor, which was different in comparison to the Zone of the Enders tv series.

We get about halfway in and it divebombs into depression.

Which it does not come out of.

    But,good story,great acting,epic characters.

    Definitely recommend it.

The art was wonderful through and through.

Not sure about the scene at the ending though,we see Viola again taking an orbital frame into space.

I can't remember any relation from that action to the actual series.

    But,it could be there.

The portrayal of Radium's fall into insanity was perfectly executed.

Then the tension between earthlings and martians.

Brings about guilt in your own being from Earth.

    Just,really worth the watch.moreless

    Oh,my gosh..can you say 'depressing'?!

Through out this OAV we follow Radium's steep mental decline, following the discovery of a great power, the Orbital Frame.

The romance between him and Dolores was very realistic and ultimately heart wretching when it came to the tragic end.

Ironically he fell back on the sanity path before anything got too serious, of course, that seemed to peak the sudden demise.

It makes you wonder if he just remained a psychopath,if maybe things would have worked out better..or worse of course.

I would say this OAV is better than Zone of the Enders, but I can't take the heartbreak. I know that is shoots for realism, real emotions and what not,but I'd rather laugh than cry.

    Big props for this.moreless
