Robert Wisden receives an opening guest credit despite only appearing in a short flashback with no dialogue, while James Bell (II) who has several extended scenes and a long conversation with Lionel, is credited to end-of-show. (edit) In the original airing, to maintain the "surprise" Allison Mack is once more uncredited, either in the opening credits or as a guest star. At 28:56 the shot is of Lex from behind Clark's shoulder. Clark's lips are moving as if he is talking, yet there is no audio. (edit) At 26:22 Clark sees Chloe's clippings on the wall and walks toward it. Yet in the reflection, on the right of shot, it shows him standing next to a back wall looking at the wall. (edit) At 25:51 there is a very clear reflection of a crew member's feet, in the glass of the cabinet, at the right side of the shot. (edit) What happened to Chloe's dad? We assume that he is still alive because we saw him being rushed into the underground caves with Chloe. However, no one asks where he is, shows any interest in his burial, etc. (edit) Trivia: The Daily Planet's article on Lionel's conviction was reported by Perry White, the reporter who in "Perry" (season 3) tried to expose Clark's secret. Following Kal-El's naked & crouched lightning-bolt arrival in the previous episode, this episode has a "bad guy" who is made of liquid metal who dies by disintegrating in a heated environment at a factory. The musical piece that plays during the scene where Lionel is in the prisoner shower just before he is attacked is the same piece (a variant of the Flower Duet from the opera Lakmé) that played near the end of a scene with Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walken in the film True Romance (1993), in which Walken kills Hopper, similar to what happens to Lionel here (though he's injured but not killed as was the case in True Romance).
