When Whitney returns at the start of the episode, Lana and Clark are talking in the hall when a full hall of students spreads to let him pass. When they hug, however, the shot of the hall of kids dispersing shows a much fewer number of students. edit »
When Clark was trapped in the cellar with the Kryptonite necklace, the green glowing light is seen on Clark's face, supposedly emitting from it. But just below the necklace it's all dark. The glowing green light comes from above and not from the necklace. edit »

When Clark and Lex are playing pool, Clark picks up a blue ball off of the table. However, when he rolls it back onto the table it changes to the white ball. edit »
When Lex and Clark are shooting pool, it interesting to note that during Lex's second shot, he seems to have no interest in aiming at all since at the moment we hear the shot, he is looking up at Clark. edit »

The haunting ballad which starts playing at the end of the episode (from the moment Lex and Dr. Bryce hold hands) is "Mad World" by Michael Andrews (featuring Gary Jules) and is also featured on the Donnie Darko soundtrack. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers was a rather unbearable children's show that was quite popular back in the early to mid-90's. A Japanese import, the franchise has gone through several different movies and incarnations since. edit »
Chloe: No way she pulled a 'Martin Guerre'
A reference to the story of Martin Guerre, the name of a man in the Middle Ages who went off to war as a child and return to his village years later. But the villagers come to suspect he is someone who has taken on Guerre's identity. The story is the subject of a musical and a French movie, and was remade in the U.S. as 'Sommersby' with Richard Gere and Jodie Foster. edit »
Tina: Her death scene...
Tina's death was simular to that of the Green Goblin in the 2002 Spider-Man movie. In the film the Green Goblin is impaled and before dying his last words to Spider-Man are "Don't tell Harry" (referring to his son). In this episode Tina is also impaled and her last words to Clark are "Take care of Lana." edit »

This episode was quite good. I can easily predict episodes and say what is going to happen, but in this episode, I truely had no idea what was going to happen, and I was in total shock in various parts of this episode. ...Continue »
