From the top 6 dancers, America's Favorite Dancer is revealed in this second part of the Season Finale.
From FOX, the creators of American Idol and the producers of American Bandstand and The American Music Awards comes So You Think You Can Dance. In its sophomore season, this show is offering the winner a one year contract for Celine Dion's Vegas show, a brand new car and $100K cash. Contestants… More perform a particular style of dance each week with a partner. The audience votes on their favorite couple leaving the 3 couples with the least votes up for elimination. After each dancer performs a solo of their choice for the judges, one male and one female contestant are up for elimination.

Jacob should have won. Russel is a very avarage dancer and connot compare to the magical Jacob. This show is a joke and I will never watch it again. What poohh!! hide show
I used to love this show but now that season 6 is over and they announced the winner I am totally disappointed and just cannot undestand how ignorant they think Americans are. This show must be rigged. This result is humanly impossible...America got gipped! Jacob should have won. Russel is a very avarage dancer and connot compare to the magical Jacob. Russel should have come in third place, maybe...This show is a joke and I will never watch it again. What poohh!I am in disbeleif...When will justice overcome crime...I feel Jacob got robbed. I know I am just mumbeling away not but this is wrong in many ways.
I used to like this show more but the new stage is distracting hide show
OK I love this show.I am not a dancer but it made me take lessons just for fun. I am actually an artist that works in film and set design and that was one of the things that really drew me into the show... now I am hooked but have the unfortunate task of looking at this horrible stage!! The size of the stage really isn't the biggest problem. It's all of the giant grid bars that light up and seem to interfere with the visual lines of the dancers. If they took off those neon grid bars that jut into the background I would at least be happier.
I also have to agree with others that the projections on the screen behind the stage are a big issue. I believe these images were the demise of Chaning and kept people from emotionally connecting with her routines. I love when they built sets and use them as props. Stick to that.
The new editing style is also obnoxious. The framing of Kat is bad and the camera work has become a bit strange- I think mostly in part because they are trying not to moiré the lines of the screen behind the dancers. Nevertheless- the moiré is still present alot.
My nickname is Ruth. This is my first time here. Hi everyone! I have fairly strong opinions about the media, society as a whole, and what we call "entertainment." But, please keep an open mind and try not to be judgmental towards me. I will do the same! hide show
So much for my favorite show continuing to be my favorite show! I'm in the midst of watching "So You Think" and I just have to put an opinion down: The dancers are doing great, but the choreography (in general) has been abysmal! I don't like the way they're going with it AT ALL. Too many choppy, violent, unbecoming poses and moves! Yes, we love emotional dances, but I think they are trying to out-do one another and it is turning out badly, in my opinion. Jean Marc, as he would say "Come On People!" He has become so irritating! First of all, the man loves to hear himself talk. Please, stop! I used to really like him on the show, but no longer! I beg you, man, quit trying to control everything and everyone and stop talking so much! Quote from Jean Marc (for the sixth time in six dances),"First of all......I want you to give it up....for ___insert choreographer___ ." The audience ALREADY gave "IT" up,Jean Marc. -Of their own free will. Just do your job and stop pretending you are the king of the dancehall. I am so over you. ARGH! I sure hope the show gets better! ( On a positive note, Austin (who I really like for the top 3)and Melanie just did the waltz and it was danced beautifully) Thanks for letting me share, Ruth
Great show, terrible lighting hide show
The dancers have been fantastic the choreography has been amazing. The only thing is that the backlighting is so bright it completely drowns out the dancers and you cannot see them. Please get the lighting on the dancers not behind them. I want to see the dancers not the glare of the lights. Other than that it has been a perfect season. The top four deserve to be there. The technique of Kayla was pure joy, the passion of Jeanine incited me to move, I've looked forward to Wednesday and Thursday with anticipation each and every week and feel the top four put on an amazing show... BUT THE LIGHTING!! WOW, change that!
I just started looking @ So you think you can dance this season. I regret never looking @ this Reality Show. I never knew that people had that much talent dancing. I can't wait until September for Season 6! Lil' C is gorgeous! hide show
I love "So You Think You Can Dance". I hope the show stays on for a looooonnnnggg time! It going to get better & better every year! I notice that alot of people don't like this reality show. I can not dance like those people do on T.V., but yet...I will not talk bad about them. They can dance their ASSES OFF! So who am I to judge or talk about them. People need to see the show for what it is & give the show & dancers their Props!!! Sound like HATERS to me! Can't wait For Season 6!
