  sadly missed hide « show »

  One of my all-time favorite soap operas, sadly no longer in production, but a high-water mark for Australian soaps. Unfortunately since it was on the public broadcaster ABC it never achieved the wide audience that it could have had if aired on one of the commercial networks. (What would be really galling would be if a commercial station bought the repeat rights to this series and had a ratings hit with it!) The characters and plotting give new meaning to the term "quirky" and the talented cast make this an engrossing experience for the regular viewer. To quote the football fans -- "Go the mighty Emus!"
