Sorrell Booke He was born in Buffalo, New York and he attended Columbia and Yale Universities and served in the Korean War as a counterintelligence officer. He is best known for his character Boss Hogg on The Dukes of Hazzard, which ran from 1979-1985. There were two reunion movies but Booke sadly passed away in 1994 before the first one.
