ANOTHER sub-par south park hide show

C'mon south park would you stop sucking....for me. Goth kids and vampires....its as gay as it sounds. I was hoping they would take the time in this episode to make fun of the twilight books and there weird fans but instead they decide to make the observation that goths look alot like vampires. BORING!!! Cartman, stan, kyle, or kenny were not even in this episode. Butters was ok but everything else sucked. Also, whats with all these episodes that are in the school. I almost always never like the school related ones. Lets all hope that season 13 doesnt suck as much as season 12 has.

    The Ungroundable review. hide show

the ungroundable was not a great episode.... it was just a good episode. i did not think this suited as a finale to a season. but it did. first ilike to point out the negatives. The sotry was to based Butters that is happening frequently now. at least the goth kids came up and supported this episode. [character development 7/10.] this episode has its humornot that .[ humor 9/10]. well the plot was decent and hopefully original and it was pretty a good plot like all the other previous early episodes.[ plot 9/10] and finally the setting of this episode. it was a pretty decent setting, i liked it how butters met the goth kids but the ending pretty stuffed up this episode a little.[ setting 7.5/10.

overall, a good episode but not great.

    8.5 Great

It's always good when Butters in the drving seat, but he couldn't stop the crash. hide show

South Park in series 12 dived deeper than Rosie O Donnels girlfriend, and the shows future isn't looking as Rosy as Rosie. But at least the series ended better than it started.

Butters is a great charecter, it's hard to go wrong with him and he was as funny as ever. He finally stands up to his parents! But of course it doesn't last. It was a fun idea that resulted in some good laughs.

This wasn't enough to save the episode. The whole goth element and the fight to stop the commercialisation of thier fashion which represents thier anti-consumer identiy is worn out idea they didn't add to. It was routine and too predictable.

This episode reeks of a lack of effort, recycled ideas and reused plots masked in overused cultural items using to many uninteresting charecters.
Who's talking about the goth thing anymore, and didn't they play this identity war in the gay episode? Can you remeber when they joke about family guy having a machine which randomied topics into jokes? Well methinks thier doing that with plots and structures, it's not even botering to do a good job of covering up thier copying.

I love South Park which is why Im so dissapointed, it's just not trying anymore. It become all about polishing the animation and concepts rather than juts trying to be downright funny or clever. Well it's obvious the writers think thier clever with thie cultural and political rantings, but theres nothing clever about that niether is it uncommon. Lets hope series 13 is better.

Decent end for an average Season 12 hide show

So the season finale is a Butters centric. Butters is one of the funniest characters on the show and has provided some unforgettable moments in the past. While this episode didn`t really bring anything that stands out, it still had its moments...and this kinda reflect the entire season.
The idea was ok. Having Butters stupid enough to believe there were vampires in the school. His stupidity simply makes him funny. Great thing to have the Gothics back. They are pretty funny but I just hope they don`t end up over-used in the future. The highlight of the episode was "Mooom! Butters just gave me a hickey"..hilarious!!
Overall a decent end of the season. Good but not great.

The season itself didn`t really bring anything that really stands out (as per the show`s standards):

-Tonsil Trouble-Underrated IMO. Cartman_Kyle rivalry is certainly played out for now but this still worked in the episode. The "I`m not only sure I`m HIV positive" phrase was a winner. 8.5/10

-Britney's New Look- What the hell was that?? Clearly one of the worst SP episode to date IMO. The only really funny thing was the Miley Cyrus is next moment. 4.5/10

-Major Boobage. Simply put, the best episode of the season IMO. Loved the Schindler`s list reference. STILL, I think that Randy in the place Gerald would have made this a classic. 9/10

-Canada On Strike- Canada jokes are over used. This was not Terrence and Phillip`s finniest moments but if you watch the mentioned Youtube vidz before watching this...it has some pretty funny moments. 7/10

-Eek, A Penis!-Good thing to have Garrison as a man again. Cartman was pretty funny too.7.5/10

-Over Logging-A very good Randy centric..not a classic tho. Still one of the best of the season. 8.5/10

    - Super Fun Time- Having all the boys in a dun adventure rather than a centric epsiode is always better. Nice Cartman-Butters combination. 8/10

-The China Problem- SP can be pointless and silly but funny but this was mostly just Silly and unfunny. The Cartman-Butters moments save the episode from being unwatchable. 6/10 -Breast Cancer Show Ever. Nice episode. If it was 2-3 seasons ago..it may even have been considered a classic but by now, there are too many Cartman centric now to make this a classic. Still pretty good. 8/10

-Pandemic. Craig stole the show...his lines were hilarious. Randy was quite funny too..nice cloverfield parody. 8/10

-Pandemic 2. Pandemic didn`t need a sequel. That was poor. Craig was still funny but it didn`t save the episode. 5/10

-About Last Night-Us election meets Ocean Eleven. It was ok. 7/10

    - Elementary School Musical. High school Musical parody. Again, it was ok. 7/10

-The Ungroundable. Like I said, another decent episode.

The amount of just Ok episodes in the season is worrying. Season 11 was strong IMO, specially part 2. Here we had a stronger part 1 and a decent part 2. Overall an average season. I`m hopeful season 13 will be much better or it may be the beginning of a Simpson like downfall IMO. I trust Matt and Trey to prevent that. :)

    Goth versus Vampires...

A reflection and a review (bear with me, I'm getting old) hide show

I'm a horror fan, and if there's something I hate nowadays is how Vampires stopped being a murderous monster that was supposed to scare you and turned into a fad that has become annoying, i mean, the Anne Rice books were cool at first, but then it turn into a parody of itself, and the flicks that Hollywood are putting on are no help at all, I always wondered how the Goth tribe felt about it and I guess I got my answer...

South Park style of course, and having a clear reference to "Salem's Lot" it kinda proved my point, also it was cool to have an episode with almost the main cast (Kyle, Stan, Kenny and Cartman) non-present, by the way that scene of Butters trying to feed of Cartman was hands down one of the best this season, this was not the solid season finale I was hoping for, but at least didn't go worse than the rest of the season... Let's hope Matt and Trey can make a comeback next year...

  • Fringe-flicking Goth: Fellow students, over the past week, there's been a lot of confusion, and so we have asked this assembly to clarify the difference between goth kids and vampire kids. Let us make it abundantly clear. If you hate life, truly hate the sun and need to smoke and drink coffee, you are goth. If, however, you like dressing in black because it's fun, enjoy putting sparkles on your cheeks and following into a cult while avoiding things that are bad for your health, then you are most likely a douchebag vampire wannabe boner. Because anyone who thinks they are actually a vampire is freaking retarded.

  • Stephen: That does it! You are grounded for two weeks, you got that?!
Butters: You can't ground me, for I'm neither living nor dead. How can thy ground that which is ungroundable? []
