  • This is the second time a "real-life" video game console has been featured on South Park, the first being The Sega Dreamcast in Tooth Fairy Tats 2000. If you include fictitious systems (The Chinpokomon game system in Chinpokomon and The Okama Gamsephere in Towelie) it is the 4th. edit »
  • Since when did Kenny have a sister? She was never seen in any other episode. edit »
  • Just before Michael draws up the plans on the whiteboard, a statue of God (in the form first seen in Are You There God, It's Me Jesus) can be seen in the background. edit »

  • When Kenny is playing his PSP you see him and his family in an amusement park. This is the same amusement park from the episode Cartmanland in Season 5. edit »
  • On June 15, 2 1/2 months after this episode originally aired, an autopsy revealed that Terri Schiavo was indeed brain-dead, even though she could only blink her eyes and breathe. 5 days later, Schiavo's ashes were laid to rest in Pennsylvania, with her gravestone marking the words of Michael Schiavo, her husband: "I kept my promise." edit »

Satan: What are we going to do?
Satan's Advisor: What we do every time…

  • Dogma:

In the movie Dogma (by Kevin Smith), the "GOD" character was locked in a human body when he entered a vegetative state by Satan's troops - the world was almost over, until the body that God possessed was unplugged from the machines, and he (as Alanis Morrisette) saved the world at the last second - just like Kenny was in the episode - stuck in vegetative state by machines (the feeding tube) - and was able to save the world only by dieing. edit »
  • Star Wars Trilogy:

Kevin looks similar to Darth Sidious from "Star Wars: Episodes III, IV, V, and VI." edit »
  • Star Wars:

When Uriel says "No! There is another", this is a reference to Star Wars VI: The Return of the Jedi, when Yoda says that Luke is not the only hope for the Jedi. edit »
