Stan's father insists that the boys watch a debate between the presidential candidates, but the debate is interrupted by an important news bulletin: "Britney Watch". Britney Spears has been spotted camping in the mountains of Colorado. One lucky photographer has gotten $100,000 for his exclusive picture of Britney pissing on a ladybug. When the boys hear they could get that much money for a photo they get Cartman's camera and go to the hotel where Britney is now staying. Only Butters is initially reluctant to participate, believing that maybe Britney should just be left alone. The boys believe if they can get a picture of Britney crapping on a squirrel they'll make a fortune. With Butters dressed as a squirrel the boys arrive at the hotel, only to find that it is surrounded by paparazzi. The boys are able to make their way past the guard and get into Britney's room. When Britney finds out that her kids aren't really here, she becomes distraught. The boys (sans Butters who is feeling remorseful over his participation in this event) want to get a picture of Britney doing something. Cartman suggests that she flash her crotch or something, but Britney has a better idea and sticks a shot gun in her mouth and pulls the trigger. Cartman runs from the room, followed by Butters, but Stan and Kyle remain there in shock. At the hospital Stan and Kyle feel remorse for their participation in the recent events that led to her shooting herself. Britney has survived the shooting and when Kyle and Stan go into her room to see her they see that the top of her head is missing (everything above her tongue is missing). Stan and Kyle apologize and wonder what it is they've done. "Britney Watch" continues, reporting on her trip to the hospital with her crazy "no top part of her head look." Seemingly oblivious to the fact that she has no head, they focus on the boob-job scar they've seen. Britney's manager comes in and the doctor suggests that with all the paparazzi outside that Britney be taken somewhere else. The manager enlists Stan and Kyle to help him move Britney out to his car. But the paparazzi quickly find them and surround the car. They leave the hospital and the manager takes her right to the recording studio, so that Britney can reinvent herself.

The MTV Awards feature Britney "singing" her new song. She's accused of lip-synching; despite the fact she has no lips and phoning in her "performance". Stan and Kyle decide that they need to take Britney away from all this and decide on the North Pole as a destination. They take her to the train station; meanwhile "Britney Watch" covers her disappearance by focusing on the camel toe that Britney is showing in a photo of her on the run (with Stan and Kyle). Stan, Kyle and Britney are trying to make their train, but the paparazzi are soon on their trail. Kyle disguises himself as a diversion and leads the paparazzi and her manager on a chase; meantime Stan and Britney board their train. Kyle is cornered by those who are trailing him and he reveals his disguise. Kyle makes an appeal on Britney's behalf saying that they are going to kill her if they keep this up. Her manager and the paparazzi reveal their real purpose; that Britney Spears has to die and they begin chanting.

Stan and Britney are going north on the train, but the engineer receives a new set of instructions and begins chanting. Kyle is with Britney's manager as they arrive in a small town. Kyle wonders why they want her to die, when is he is informed that they don't want her to die, they need her to die. "…throughout history people have found it necessary to engage in, human sacrifice." In ancient times a lovely girl was picked, adorned with jewels and treated like a goddess for a while and then watch her die. In this more civilized time, people like to watch someone put to death through magazines and photographs. Britney is being sacrificed for "Harvest". The train has stopped; Stan and Britney flee from the oncoming paparazzi, right into the middle of a large crowd that has gathered to wait for the sacrifice. Even Kyle and Stan's parents are there. They boys find out they haven't been told about the need for a sacrifice, because they are still too young. The crowd moves in with their cameras and Britney's body goes down. Britney is dead and finally left alone. At harvest time the corn crop is looking good. On screen at the grocery store is coverage of the next probable harvest victim, Miley "Hannah Montana" Cyrus and those present begin to chant, even Kyle and Stan.
