A deleted scene shown on the South Park Studios website (put online a couple days before air) details an alternate scene for after the boys lose Token to the CAA and are lying around contemplating their loss, but this time Cartman mentions "Kenny's parents are gonna be so mad at him when they find out we lost all their money to make up the talent agency! Umm...Kenny?" This is why Kenny is laying motionless on the couch during the scene. (edit) The ad at the end for Wing and her music is a real website! It's http://www.wingmusic.co.nz/. Apparently, no editing was done to the sound of Wing or her songs, they really are that great! (edit)

Tong Leader: Where is she?

Cartman: So why shouldn't we get some of that money? We can be Token's agent; that way we get 10% of whatever he makes!
Stan: Hey yeah, we deserve that money just as much as he does. (edit)

The contract Token signs reads as follows: "I will give 10% of my money to Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman because they are awesome and can find me lots of work as an artist." (edit) Token has a great singing voice in this episode, but in "Here Comes the Neighborhood" he can barely stay on key. (edit) On one of the commercials for this episode, Cartman, when talking to Token on the street, calls him Butters. ("Butters, my man! What is up?!") (edit) At the end, Token is working as a waiter to buy a plane ticket back home. But his parents are really rich. Why don't they just pay a few dollars to fly him home. (edit) At the pageant, Token's last name is announced as being "Black", but in ep. 512 (Here Comes the Neighborhood), his family is referred to as the Williams's. (edit)

This episode is set up to damn the record industry and recording agencies as a whole. They compare record agencies and artists agents to organized crime such and the mafia and the Yakuza. (edit) Reality Shows:

Wing was going to participate in American Idol, but she couldn't join because there were too many contestants, so she joined The Contender instead.

These are two popular reality shows. American Idol airs various nights on Fox at 8:00 PM and it's a reality show about looking for the next "pop idol," whereas The Contender, which airs Sundays on ESPN at 8:00 PM is looking for the next boxing champion. (edit) Token and Wing's Songs:

During the talent show, Token sings, "You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine" by Lou Rawls.

The song Wing was singing to the boys the first time they met her was "Dancing Queen" by ABBA. Then during The Contender’s boxing match, Wing sings "Fernando" by ABBA, and later at the wedding, she sings "Sing" by The Carpenters. (edit) E.T. The Extra Terrestrial:

Whenever there's a wide shot of the completed 'office' for the talent agency, you can see a poster to the left of the fountain hanging on the wall with the words 'I.T.' on it.

This is a spoof of the 1982 film E.T. by Steven Spielberg, as also on the poster you can see someone flying on a bicycle over the moon. (edit)
