House and heroes r definitely better shows than the sopranos. i guess since sopranos ends now, this was some kind of sympathy award. and since when is james spader better than hugh laurie or kiefer sutherland? i know he's a very gud actor but not better than these two. happy to see katherine heigl win tho sandra was pretty gud. furthermore masi oka was a better choice.

I can't believe people are saying Heroes and House are better than The Sopranos.I think most people here is 13-14 years old or their brains don't produce enough brain cells. The Sopranos is the greatest tv series of all time (and better than most of the movies) and deserved its Emmy.And James Spader over James Gandolfini was a disgusting crime as i previously stated.

House and Heroes were robbed... so glad Sopranos is over so it can't steal any more Emmys from my favourite shows. At lease James Spader won for Boston Legal which was well deserved.

I'm really happy for Katherine, and I love her and all... but I really think Sandra should have won. Hugh Laurie was supposed to be THE man! Sooo not fair! Soo happy for Sally and Terry O'Quinn (not a huge Lost fan but the man can act!). I predicted The Sopranos to win it (specially after the huge number in their honour...), but I seriously wanted Grey's to win it (that show is my baby!) or at least House (I love that show!)...

Love Katherine Heigl, but I think Sandra Oh should have won. And why wasn't Ellen Pompeo nominated for best actress in a drama series? She was blue for like a WHOLE episode! That's some acting right there.

masi oka should have won best supporting actor and whats the deal with Boston Legal winning best actor in a drama series. Hugh Laurie should have gotten that.

I was pretty upset. I diffenatly thought Heroes should have won every catagory it was entered in, especially best drama. I was totally yelling "MASI OKA!!!! MASI OKA!!!" At the TV when they were about to announce the winner for best supporting actor in a drama series.

Am I the only one who thinks this years Emmys were the BEST. I am so happy for Terry o Quinn for Lost (long overdue), very pleased for Katherine Heigal for Greys. Happy for Sally Field and for the amazing America Ferrera as Ugly Betty. Shame on Ugly Betty not winning best comedy and for Grey's Anatomy for Best Drama. Shame on poor Hugh Laurie, that boston Legal guy has already one twice! Well done Ricky Gervais for Extras (he did it for the brits). Next year better have my Lost and Desperate Housewives.

The Sopranos did get one because the show is over. They should have give the Emmy to house.

I think The Sopranos won only because the series ended, and a lot of people must have been heart-broken, so they gave it the Emmy as a parting gift. I personally would, have liked Heroes, House or Boston Legal.

I agree that network and cable shows should be in separate categories for the Emmys. Great shows like Lost get overshadowed by cable shows like the Sopranos, which is an amazing show, but ultimately has a bigger budget and is subject to far less censorship than network shows. Congrats Terry on the win! Why didn't Steve Carell win for the Office? Why? Why?!?!?!??!

I sat there thinking last night that they really should have separate categories for network and cable shows. Network shows have to work with different rules then cable. It's harder for a Network drama or comedy to be shocking and innovative because they can't do and say just about anything, like they can on cable.

The Emmy's hardly ever get's it right and this time was no different. One or two maybe out of everything and that's it.

Heroes rulz, is too bad it didnt win :( And I agree with I think it was James spader, who the heck vote in the Emmy's?? I mean who are in charge to nominee people and actually give them an Emmy? cuz they actually suck... I was surprised only one desperate housewives was nominated last night, and glad it was like that and glad she lose, dont get me wrong i love the show, but it's way too overrated!

Well, in my oppinion Mariska Hargitay should have won best drama actres, i mean she was great last season, i´m glad for Terry O Quinn, he deserved it! i agree with the people that said that sopranos won because it was their last year, i wanted Heroes to win in that category. I´m also glad for katherine, she was fenomenal this season and James Spader was good too, he also deserved it!

Yes, Sopranos is an amazing show and it will be missed, i also think that I got the Emmy because it is no more. Emmys do that everytime an uber popular show wraps up. I was VERY disappointed for House and Heroes.
