How was Plankton able to get in the bus in the first place? (edit) In an Atlantis Squarepantis short (a short that aired before the TV movie's airdate), Patrick was riding the bus, without song fuel. Was the bus using fossil fuel? (edit) One of Lord Royal Highness' eye is blue and the other is green. (edit) When Plankton escapes from the bus, he is shown leaving through the bus' tailpipe. If the bus can only run on song fuel, why does it have a tailpipe for fossil fuel? (edit) The Atlantian bus says it can't run on fossil fuels like most of the fish in SpongeBob. Aren't fossil fuels a threat to the ocean? (edit)

Lord Royal Highness
The Atlantians, particularly Lord Royal Highness, look very similar to the Blue Meanies from the Beatles' film, Yellow Submarine. (edit) Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory: (Film - 1971)
This episode has an unbelievable amount of references to Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

The tour given through Atlantis is very similar to that given through the Chocolate Factory.

The Lord Royal Highness is very similar to Willy Wonka in a few ways. 1, he guides the tour. 2, the way he talks. 3, he walks around with a cane. And 4, he holds himself above the others.

The way the story unfolds throughout the tour is very similar as well, as one person leaves the tour at a time, just like how the kids misbehave and end up out of the tour.

The 'New Technology' that Sandy is thrilled about is very similar to all of Willy Wonka's new inventions.

The explanation of the 'Germ Warrior' is almost identical to that of Wonkavision. Describing how SpongeBob's particles were separated and floating about, until it shrunk him down to fight the bacteria.

The way that the tank shoots out Ice Cream, and the object morpher turns everything to ice cream is similar to how everything in the Chocolate Factory is candy.

And lastly, the most prized possession of Atlantis is the Longest Living Bubble, which is very similarly shaped and sized to look like the Everlasting Gobstopper, which is Wonka's most prized possession. And both appear to go on forever, the life of the bubble, and the taste of the candy. (edit) Video Game Parodies
