The game against U Conn is still going on (with GMU leading 69-65 and about 3 minutes to go), but they've already had an excellent showing in the tournament. And to think that many people, including Billy Packer and Jim Nantz, thought they didn't even deserve to be in the tournament.

Three minutes away from a Final Four appearance!

I think they may win it all. Just how they've done in this tournament gives them many fans.

Overtime? A bit of a defensive breakdown at the end there. Let's see what happens in the extra period. Should be close.

    What the?!?!?!

They should review that free throw! I think that some of those UConn players went into the lane before the ball hit the rim!

Perry Mason tried everything at the end of regulation and overtime to give the game to UConn but to no avail.

Raise your hand if someone says "George Mason" and you automatically associate the name with a character from the TV series "24." Just a thought.

Maybe one of the top 10 college basketball games I have ever seen. I really didnt think that Mason would have enough for overtime. I was dumbfounded by the very similar endings to regulations and overtime.

    A GREAT game.

Wow, no number one seed in the Final Four. ESPN had over 3 million brackets filled out, and only 3 people had George Mason, LSU, and UCLA picked for the final four. It would be great to see George Mason take it all.

If they win it all, there is probably going to be a movie about it somewhere down the road.

Yeah, but if you're looking for the next "Glory Road," you might have to wait a couple of decades.

True, especially when you consider all the factual information that was thrown out the window to make "Glory Road" to make it more compelling than it really was...

But that means they could do the same thing for the GMU movie: the starting point guard had his leg amputated in high school and later re-attached; the center is legally blind; the team was forced to practice without sneakers because of lack of funding, ... Fiction can be such fun.
