Mark Sanchez dislocated his knee cap on friday, could be out 2-4 weeks for USC.

I only know of Sanchez through a write-up in ESPN magazine. Well, so much for being the poster child for Latinos in football.

He should be ready for Ohio State. Most of his time missed will be before the season starts.

Oh, goody. I was afraid of crowning Tony Romo as the new gold standard of Hispanic quarterbacks. (I'm not trying to make a big deal out of it, but there's so few of them...)

His grandfather was from Mexico, making him a 3rd generation Hispanic. His mom is German-Polish, according to Wikipedia which cited a San Antonio Newspaper.

Buckeyes continue to prove to the nation just how weak the conference they play in is by getting dominated in back to back championships by teams from the SEC. Too bad they play USC this year..

It's actually kind of fitting that they would be ranked #2, they've shown their expertise in finishing there the last two years.

I don't think that the Big Ten is a weak conference. Other than the SEC I think it is the strongest conference. I think the ACC, Pac-10, and Big 12 are all weaker conferences then the Big Ten. That is just my opinion so if I offended anyone I am sorry.

Big 12 has Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Missouri. Kansas did not play Texas or Oklahoma last season.

Pac-10 has USC and maybe UCLA.

Big 10 has Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin, Illinois, and maybe Michigan. Illinois lost Mendenhall. Michigan lost... their whole offense.

We all know how grueling the SEC is so I won't go there.

Bad news for Penn State fans, Devon Still suffered a broken leg during a scrimage today. Early word is that it might be season ending, no sure word on it yet though. This is a real kick in the pants to the depth at defensive tackle with Chris Baker and Phil Taylor being booted from the team the other week.

By the way, Penn State's quarterback last year, Anthony Morelli, wasn't the best quarterback, to be nice. If I were to be mean I would say he absolutly sucked. Ask any Penn State fan outside of his family. This year running the spread like we did with Michael Robinson when we beat Ohio state and Florida State in the Orange Bowl. If you go back to that season Vince Young was leading Texas over USC. If it weren't for those two unbelievably amazing teams Penn State could have been the National Champions. As you know athletes like Vince Young and Regie Bush don't come around that often so to make it that far with a 1 year starter running a non-familiar offense that was a pretty good team.
