Wow, I'm glad Carson is back, but the episode looks terrible to me, Keller turns in to a giant plant and takes over atlantis?

Oooookay. As TOCM said...very happy that Carson is back for 1 of his 5 eps (although what has he done to his hair?! lol)...the story on the other hand. It's not the "plant taking over Atlantis" thing I'm unsure of,there looks to be some potential for creepiness in that,but..having it turn the crew into plants? Hmmmm Have to wait and see how it plays out I guess. |

Ha ha I love crazy eps! Sounds Triffid-esque to me, I can't wait! Oh how I wish I was in the states to see season 5... I haven't even seen much of season 4 yet (awaiting DVDs). Turn away those pitying eyes! |

Here in Canada we get it the Monday after it airs in the States. To me that is more irritating than having to wait a long time to see them because I just can't understand why they have to wait 3 days to air it when they could easily air it at the same time. The same station airs Dexter concurrently with the US so I just don't get it.

ok i have read everyone's responses posts whatever am i the only one here to say what the bleeep is going on with putting Richar Woosley in charge of alantis i mean i like robert picardo but woolsey is not proper for alantis and i want amada tapping back in the show.

well, amanda tapping quit Atlantis cuz she wanted to focus on Sanctuary, so they needed a new commander. Atlantis is kinda controlled by the IOA, and Woolsey is their representative. many people don't particularly like him, but are reserving judgment until seeing how he does on Atlantis. |

I think he did great. He's grown so much as a character since he was first introduced and just seeing him in this episode, I have no doubts that he'll continue being amazing as the season progresses.. Sure he'll have his ups and downs cause ... it's Woolsey... But I love Rob.. XD

As far as the episode today, it was ok. Woolsey wasn't too bad, but still stuck on 'following the rules' thing. But that sucks, that tower is offically lost. Maybe if they had some replicators to fix up the city again... lol |

Very weak plot, in my opinion. This episode did not work on many levels. The team dynamic was negligible, the concept was a tad ridiculous - "a let's grow hive ships out of all the humans virus?" - and Woolsey's introduction was not pretty. From his ho-hum arrival, this was not a banner beginning for the character of Richard Woolsey. Is he going to be hand-wringing about not being able to follow the rules in every single episode? I think that premise is already old.
The entire cast seemed tired - I mean the energy level was decidedly down, wasn't it? Oh well, maybe it was SGA's "Bane", and now that they have it out of their system, the rest of the season can progress. |

Another awesome episode. And I really loved Woolsey. Sure, he's a bureaucrat but he's not a jerk. I think I will love him as the head of Atlantis. The writers are doing a great job this season!

I like woolsey. Maybe that's because I still see The Doctor in him, but anyways. He'll do fine. While he may do everything by the book,he has proven several times hes not a bad person. |

If I was going to rate the episode I would probably give this episode a B+. It was decent storyline but something was missing. I loved that they defrosted Carson so he could save Keller but there seemed to be an awkwardness between people that wasn't there before. Maybe it's the first episode that they filmed after the break and everyone is trying to get back into the groove again I don't know but something was definitely off.

I thought it was a good episode, but I didn't like the major plot of an infection in Keller turning into a hive ship. It was a solid start for Woolsey. There were a few minor issues like Beckett waking up asking if he missed anything even though Teyla was standing right there. Beckett talking about Keller's condition: "Well it's not the case of the hives, is it?" I wonder if they put that in as a pun. Overall, an okay episode. |
