In the DVD commentary Amanda Tapping explains why Carter no longer carries a P-90. Due to the war in Iraq there was a shortage of bullets, which includes blanks like the show uses. They kept O'Neill with a P-90 but as you can see in this episode it's used sparingly - we hear him fire it but we don't see him do it.
(edit)
This is one of only two episodes of Season Seven, besides "Fallen", "Homecoming" and "Fallout", in which Jonas Quinn (Corin Nemec) is mentioned. The other is "Death Knell".

Lee: At least we think it's off. It's not glowing anymore, so...
Daniel: Glowing thing really gives it away, so if it's not glowing anymore it shouldn't be on anymore.
Lee: Do you want to hold it?
Daniel: No! No.
(Daniel hops away from him) (edit) Jack: You know, I think I should recommend that you get posted, to a nicer place.
Burke: A temperate zone, not too hot, not too cold... fine-looking women that put out like broken candy machines.
Jack: Whatever. (edit) Burke: So is that that thing that made that guy do that thing? (edit) Burke: Watch your step, ladies - we're not in Minnesota.
Jack: Easy. (edit) Jacob: Reminds me of my old football uniform.
Siler: They had helmets back then, sir?
Jacob: Funny. (edit)

The Nicaraguan that was "resurrected" by the Ancient device had about as much exposure to it as the other Nicaraguans, and yet none of the others came back to life after being killed.
(edit)
The AK-47s the Nicaraguans shoot sound exactly like the P90 Jack shoots (or rather, we hear him shoot) despite the fact they use completely different ammo.
(edit)
When the kidnappers threaten Daniel with the jumper cables, he rubs them together to show him that they are electrified, but if you watch it frame by frame you can see that the sparks come out of the end of the cable, instead of where they touch.
(edit)
Tartarus:
In Greek mythology, Tartarus was a region in the underworld where criminals and immoral people were punished. One of its inhabitants was Tantulus (see first season, "The Torment of Tantalus"). (edit) Burke: Watch your step, ladies - we're not in Minnesota.
Richard Dean Anderson is from Minnesota. (edit) Burke: What's with the guy from 'Evil Dead'?
Referencing the first movie in the Evil Dead trilogy of Sam Raimi. (edit)
