Doodles Weaver is seen again as the slow-witted but well-meaning Eddie Hoyle, friend to 'Starpy & Hup', in the second season episode "Gillian".
(edit)
Starsky: (on Hutch's healthfood diet) Well, there's always ground-up unicorn toes and, if that's not available, why don't we throw in the ever-popular South American hoot owl's beak?
(edit)
The 'go-go dancer/ear-blowing' scene is part of the 2nd season opening credits.
(edit)
Ramon Bieri (Bo Rile) and Doodles Weaver (Eddie Hoyle) arrive at the paint factory. We see Eddie Hoyle dressed all in brown (pants and jacket). Bo knocks Eddie down and when Bo is tugging Konig's wallet in the pants pocket, we see that the color of the pants is not brown but something close to light blue!
(edit)
Hutch: (to Officer Nedloe and his wife) What I don't understand is what's wrong with these two...you watch Police Story, don't you? You know cops aren't supposed to be happily married?
He's referring to the mid-70's NBC police anthology show as notable for its psychological dramas as its police procedurals. The allusion's especially notable because tv shows of the time rarely referred to shows on rival networks. (edit)
