The report finds it's way into the hands of Dr. Steven Dooling. An obvious combined name of King and Dooling's names.

Hook: Mary, you're doing this, aren't you? Disturbing the Swedenborgian flow, whatever that is. Look, if you can't help it, how can you stop it? How can we stop it?
(edit)
Gottreich: Here they store what came before, pain and suffering from days of yore. Before and after, tears and laughter, after comes before, before comes after. Past and future and then, hereafter. The naked and the dead, the young and the old, their stories end here, their tales untold. Here sickness and death have left their pages, written in blood for all the ages. Someday, your story will be here, too.
(edit)
Christa: Now bright gold leaves turn brown and sere, this is the turning of the year.
Abel: Now the days grow dim and low, next there comes the sleet and snow.
Christa: How long before the earth shakes hard enough to destroy the hospital?
Abel: Unless something stops it, or someone, it will happen tonight. Much will happen first. For some, this will be a good day. A very good day, for some.
Christa: Some will find what has been lost.
Abel: And some are still seeking. Some will have a good day, but others, some will have a bad day.
Christa: A no-good day.
Abel and Christa: A terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad day. (both laugh) (edit) Paul: Don't worry, God will take care of us. Or...
Carrie: Or?
Paul: ...he won't. (edit)

At several points during the earthquakes, you can see objects that should be shaking, standing still.

Are we actually to believe that in a hospital this big, with a staff this big, no one heard the gunshots? No police were called when they saw the rats were shot? No one found the gun until Stegmen walked in?

Abel and Christa: A terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.
