    10 Perfect

Nick Mancuso is awesome in this series , stars as a mysterious former Goven't Operative who now spends his time helping anyone in Need. Refusing cash all he asks in return is that anyone he helps will repay him with a favor in the future. hide « show »

This series was made way before its time , watching it all just recently , it definately was made before its time, all the eposides r excellent and mixed with music video action style. It was also filmed in Alberta , really neat to see downtown Calgary and Okotoks in the background. I bought the whole series and was awesome to watch back to back episodes.
The Season 2 opener called The Greeter was filmed in Okotoks and is definately one of the best episodes.
Also there is an episode in season one where two sting rays race down 8th ave right buy the Calgary tower. Its awesome to see, buy it u won't be disappointed.

It was really a great series. Even after so much time, it would be great to watch those episodes again.Unfortuntaely I can not find anyway to get them downloaded.

The mistery sorrunding the protagonists was something unique at that time fill of standard cops and detectives.

Even being a child,I still remember the series. It would be a great thing to be able to have them back. I live in Spain but even in english version, it could be a good thing to have them back in my records. If anybody is having them, I would be appeciate the ling to download these episodes.

This was a pretty good show it only lasted 2 seasons. It ran from 1985 to 1987. The main character Ray drives around in a black 1965 corvette stingray. Someone can contact him by placing a newspaper or comp ad to barter for a black 1965 corvette stingray. hide « show »

This tv show should of been on alittle longer. I remember it from when I was alot younger. A preteen to be exact. Rays character speaks for itself. He was a man of many mysteries. From what I remember he could impersonate just about anyone from a disguise to going about the full 10 yards and getting the whole job done. He also was somewhat of a fighter skilled in many types of fighting and was crafty around computers. Doing these kinds of jobs all in return he asks for just one favor at anytime down the road just one. Im suprised this show isnt out on DvD yet. One can only wonder I hope soon. They dont make tv shows like this anymore. This was a true classic. I wont be forgetting.

The age-old theme of the Lone Ranger. But rather than a mysterious masked man and his horse, we have a mysterious sun-glassed man and his 1965 black Stingray Corvette. Remember, if you can't call the cops, you call Stingray! hide « show »

When you can't call the cops, you call Stingray! That's right. That was the tagline. OMG I am sitting here with a tape that is 20 years old (taped 3/4/86), looking at the original pilot of this show right now, and I still remember the scenes. I think I still have some first run epies on tape somewhere that I may have kept and had not overtaped with other things. It's been so long. The commercials are a riot (Eastern Airlines? LOL). After all these years, it has dated itself a bit though. I know NBC was sortof trying to cash in on the "Miami Vice" look and feel (since they started it all), with heavy use of current popular music and video-style synchronizing of music to the edits and quick cuts of the scenes. Definitely a Stephen J. Cannell production in any case.

I've had a thing for 'vettes for some reason, going back to Bill Bixby's short-lived show - "The Magician" in 1973, where he drove a white 1973 'vette (which I discovered at the time cost $8000 - a heckuva lot for then...lol).

Anyway, I really liked this show and the premise of this mysterious anonymous ex-Vietnam POW crime fighter with no name, who could bascially be contacted by placing an ad in the newspaper for a '65 Stingray Corvette (if I remember correctly). His "payment" was that the person he helps would essentially make him or herself available for use by him at a later date, at his willl, and at any time - all in order to be used to help a different person. I.e., as he says, he "takes money out of the equation".

Some of the acting from the guest stars was definitely a little hokey and formulaic (and the dialog didn't help), but Nick Mancuso was right on the money with this part! A shame that the show didn't last.
