The CW is the latest network to announce its full-season pickups, and like CBS and NBC, they were awfully generous. But not that generous.
Freshman shows Hellcats and Nikita both saw the back nine episodes tacked onto the initial 13-episode order. Also joining the group was the long-running One Tree Hill, which will also be around for 22 episodes.
Absent from the list is the struggling Life Unexpected, which defied odds and received a second-season order last year. At this point, an extension for the show looks unlikely.
NBC, CBS, and The CW have all announced their full-season pickups, leaving ABC and Fox as the two majors who have yet to make all their decisions public. Fox did pick up one show, Raising Hope, and canceled Lone Star.

Why cancel a show if its Great? ... And only because OTH has been around for 8 seasons, why cancel? Why not aim for the great goal. The Number 10!OTH is so great and I looove that its picked up, I like Life unexpected too. Hope that it will be picked up. A series I like to be cancelled if it hasnt already is Smallville.
NOOO!!!!! DON'T cancel Life UneXpected!!! Cancel a pointless show, like that Hellcats or Nikita!!! Just because this show is realistic, but that's what makes it GOOD!!! And One Tree Hill's had more than eight seasons!!! EIGHT!!! Life UneXpected is loved by many viewers that wait for each episode every week (I'd know; I'm one of them!). Come on CW!!! I don't even live in the States, but we have just got Season 1 of Life Unexpected and its great! Do NOT cancel Life Unexpected! Why not cancel OTH its been around over 8 years!

what the heck CW!!! LUX is an awesome show, its really what would clearly happen in real life. Just beacause it doesnt have flipping cheerleaders or somebody shooting doesnt mean its awesome!!!! KEEP LUX GOING,GIVE IT A FULL SEASONS,HECK GIVE IT MANY FULL SEASONS!!!!
That show is a good clean show so I guess that is why it is being canceled. it tells a story NOT a bunch of cheerleaders hopping around. I have no time for One Tree Hill or Hellcats... if this goes off I will not be watching any CW shows I guess

what the hell?! people clearly like Life Unexpected so why the hell havent the CW picked it up for a full season? Not being funny but One Tree Hill is over, and its had its day I got bored after season 5. & Hellcats ive not even bothered watching its looks like a TV version of Bring It On. Why dont they give Life Unexpected a chance? Its like my go to show now becasue Ive had nothing really to fill the Gimore Girls hole since it finised in 2007. Someone needs to get in touch with CW and ask them if theyre all stupid. Save Life Unexpected, give it a full season just to wrap things up if possible or it not give us a season three! Change the timeslot, SOMETHING to help it because in my eyes your letting it fail on purpose. BUCK UP YOUR IDEAS CW. NOW.moreless

i will be heart broken if it doesn't get its back 9. this is one of my favorite shows definitely in my top 10. I will be vary sad to see it go :(

Hellcats is the only how out of thos three that deserves a full season, One Tree Hill didn't even deserve a full season 1. Life Unexpected it one of five CW shows i like (Hellcats, Vampire Diaries, Smallville, and Supernatural are the others. sometimes Gossip Girl)

I love One Tree Hill, but after this season I really hope they think about canceling it before it becomes something like a soap opera. Life Unexpected is on top of my CW-favorite list right now, and in my opinion definitely better then Hellcats. Do we really need another show about cheerleading? Ratings are wrong, I am right.
Life Unexpected is a great show with potential it deserves a full season, Im glad One Tree Hill, Nikita and Hellcats got their full seasons now please do the same to LIFE UNEXPECTED
What's up with the CW? Life Unexpected is an amazing, intelligent, original show which deserves a full season. One Tree Hill doesn't. This show sucks now: Brooke lost her company. OK. What now? It's the same thing for Haley and Nathan. I'm glad they're still together, as strong as ever, but they're so boring now. When Haley was a teacher, there was potential. And Nathan's storyline ran dry now that his back broke up with basketball. I don't understand. I just hope Life Unexpected will get lucky once again....

What the hell CW?! Life Unexpected is most likely going to be cancelled at the end of season 2 anyway; give us the back 9 so we can enjoy one of the greatest shows on TV at least a little longer!
