Anne Heche will play a shrink when she takes the starring role in ABC's pilot Men in Trees.
In the hour-long show, Heche's character moves to Alaska after she learns that her husband has been cheating on her, only to discover herself surrounded by available men.
Also cast in the pilot, written by Jenny Bicks and to be directed by Walk the Line helmer James Mangold, are Derek Richardson (Hostel) and Emily Bergl (WB Network's Gilmore Girls).
Heche most recently starred in the LA Theatre Works production of George Bernard Shaw's Arms and the Man, the CBS telefilm Silver Bells, and a multi-episode arc on FX's Nip/Tuck.
