Title: The Girl Who Signed Wolf.
This is an allusion to the story The Boy Who Cried Wolf, which tells of a boy who claimed there was a wolf about to attack him, and all the townspeople came rushing out to help him, only to discover he was lying. When there actually was a wolf about to attack him, when he called out no one came to help him because they did not believe him, based on his previous lies. (edit)
