Supernatural stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki as Dean and Sam Winchester, two brothers who travel the country looking for their missing father and battling evil spirits along the way.

Sam Winchester is a college student bound for law school, determined to escape his family's past - unlike his older brother, Dean. Ever since they were little their father has been consumed with an obsession to find the evil forces that murdered his beloved wife, in result recruiting and training his two young sons to help him in revenge. They have grown up as hunters of the supernatural. Sam escaped under the premise of going to college, and now has a happy life with his girlfriend, Jessica, and a promising future career. Dean, however, stayed behind with his father to join him in his "hunting".

Dean goes to Sam for help when their father goes missing. Now Sam must join his brother to find him. His one weekend trip to search for the missing John Winchester becomes an ongoing quest after a horrible tragedy ruins any thought of a happy life for Sam.

The two brothers, bound by tragedy and blood to their mission, travel across the country encountering terrifying and dangerous forces most believe to be nothing but superstition and folklore, such as the Lady in White, the Indian beast known as the Wendigo, Phantom Travelers who cause plane crashes, Bloody Mary, vampires, demons and many more.

  Even in the Fourth Season focused on Christian religion, we have also seen pagan gods and monsters (crocotta, rugaru, Changelings, etc.) from other religions, mytholgies and folklore. In this regard, how do you describe the world of Supernatural ? I think it may be pantheistic, and thus comprehending many gods and deities, among which the Christian God is only one, the most powerful one because of the wide-spread worship. On the contrary, pagan gods are now weaker because there aren't so many followers behind them. Something like Neil Gaiman's American Gods . What do you think about it? less «

  Ok. So read a mention somewhere that we should have a Supernatural club of sometype. Here it is! I call it the SFU- which stands for Supernatural Fans United (let me know what you think of the title). This is the first time I've started a club on this website (or anywhere for that matter), so I hope it's ok that I modeled it after another club I'm in from this website (check my sig)- If it's not ok just let me know and I'll change it. All you have to do to join is say the pledge (which really means copy and paste it in a message) that you can find below, choose a title (or a "job")-you may have a maximum of two, and then write something in your signature- for example: Proud member of SFU and (your title here). If you have any questions, please don't be afraid to ask. I always say, "If you don't ask, you'll never know". I'm profound in my simplicity. lol.  You don't have to read all the posts before you join. We sometimes have spontanious posting marathons that can go on for pages. Just read the last few pages so you know what we're currently talking about.:) Pledge: *Raise right hand* I, (and state your first name-you can use your screen name if you prefer), pledge to forever be a fan of Supernatural. I promise to spread the word about this awesome show and never say anything bad about it or the Winchester family. I swear to watch every episode and to never let any other show take it's timeslot in my personal television schedule. I also swear to uphold the rules of the SFU thread and to always respect my fellow fans. How to write your signature (I get a lot of questions about this): Your signature (in case you didn't already know) appears at the bottom of every message you post on a thread. To write your signature, click on the word "prefs" at the top of the page (under your screan name). That should bring up another window. Click on the "boards" tab and then you can write your sig in the box labled "signature". It can say anthing you like. Most people write something like "Proud member of the SFU" Don't forget to click "save changes" when you're finished! Rules: 1. The SFU is for fans only. If you don't like the show, than don't watch it, and don't ruin the fun for the people who are. 2. "Can't we all just get along?" Play nice, okay? It's fine if you disagree with someone, in fact we ecourage you to have your own opinion, just don't cause an argument that isn't all in good fun. (I don't tolerate curse words used for name calling and I will report such bad behavior.) 3.Speaking of fun... the third rule is that you have to have fun. Becuase honestly, life is stressful enough, take some time to watch your favorite tv show and chat on with your fellow clubmembers on your favorite thread. 4. Let's stay on topic. It's cool if you want to post something funny, but let's not still be talking about it three pages later. There might be more rules added in the future as they may be needed. Oh, and If you break rules 1 and 2, you have three warnings. The first is really just a warning. The second stripps you of your title. And the third (I hope it wont come to this) revokes you of your membership. Rules 3 and 4 can be streched pretty far. But who want's to break rule 3? Please join!   So a bunch of us are starting a fan club thing for Castiel and "Supernatural" angels in general. Thoes of you who are in SFU know the drill and have probably read some of our posts. Anyway, we're working on a t-shirt and here is my suggested design.   Sam and Dean Winchester two brothers bought back together by a family crisis involving their father, so far so normal.... hide « show »

  Supernatural is my favourite show on tv, I first saw it late one Monday evening ( I live in the UK ) It was the episode Bloodlust , I watched it again the following week at the normal time and was hooked, so I bought Season 1 and from then on I've seen the show go from strength to strength.
  The guest stars and regulars are amazing ( I love Bobby !!! ) and the lead characters Jared and Jensen are just fantastic, Jensen has been amazing all along but the real surprise for me has been Jared, watch him in season 1 fresh from The Gilmore Girls and then watch him , especially in the last two episodes of season 4,and you can see just how much he's grown as an actor , obviously I can't wait for the start of season 5 ,so until then I'll just have to carry on re-watching my dvd's !!!.

  "Supernatural", created by Eric Kripke, is a show revolving on two brothers: Sam Winchester and Dean Winchester. They both travel around the country hunting demons, vampires, werewolves, spirits and other creatures that most people believe a myth. The show have taken a big twist, since it just started with them looking for their father around the country and lately they've been trying to stop the apocalipse, and that makes the story amzing for me. This is one of the best shows created and might be the best on air today. The series have been on since 2005, and we have a total of 4 seasons and 5th one is coming up.

  Supernatural is one of the best shows of the last decade with great actors and dedicated fans. hide « show »

  Supernatural is one of my favorite shows to come out in the last decade. When TV guide continually boasts shows that are all teen-drama oriented, Supernatural is a nice break with tradition. With great actors and a great story, it is totally a hit.
  Supernatural is a fantastic blend of drama, action, and comedy that keeps it's audiences rooted and entertained. With interesting plot lines through out each season, it continually surprises and amazes us simultaneously. Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki steam up the screen and make a great team as Dean and Sam Winchester. Their characters are different and appeal to each person differently. [Personally, I love Dean. He's dark and interesting and complex, and yet, totally simple.] The show has fans screaming for more each episode. And since the television world is not easy to conquer with changing trends and fickle audiences to demand to be entertained, Supernatural having been on the air for the past 5 years was something supernatural itself. We are all still screaming for more, and with the go ahead for season five of the show we all love, I'm sure that Supernatural will once more have us all rooted to the television set.

  This show has been really good since the beginning and it just keeps getting better. I can't wait to see what they have in store for the new season. This show is so good you just keep coming back for more.
  Sam and Dean have really captured my interest with the terrific story lines. The drama and its numerous fictional characters(or are they????) depending on what u believe, of course are fenomenal. Even the supposed bad and evil ones that have appeared capture and pique my interest and make me anxiously writhe with anticipation to the future season.
  Excellent overall, don't you agree?

  Dean and Sam originally start off fighting a bunch of mythical beings with their dad. Then the dad dies, and then Dean. Dean comes back and then Sam and Dean tackle Hell and all of its demons including the big one, Lucifer himself. hide « show »

  Dean, Sam, and dad start of hunting mythical monsters.....woohoo(not). Supernatural was, admittingly, pretty boring at the start. At first, this show was just a good one to watch when you were bored and had nothing bettter to do, but then something happened. It got better, and better, and better, all the way until it became a show that you made sure that you had time in your schedule to watch. Bottom line is that Kripke has put together an absolute masterpiece. I am sure that I speak for all supernatural fans when I say that I can not wait for season 5!
