  A superhero that lives in the swamps, yep, he was late the day god was giving superheros places to take care of. hide « show »

  This show is very unique and special, and it is hard to digest thanks to its uniqueness. The thing I like the most about this show is that feeling of claustrophobia you get when you see all the stories in this show being presented in those dark swamps where all you can see is vegetation for miles and miles and in which many treasures lie just underneath all that green. One thing I don't like is the way Swamp Thing talks, he has a very slow paced way to talk that makes me wanna set him on fire. A nice show to watch if you are a fan.

  i thought the show was great and i wish they did bring it back i would like to see the show and i would like the show and see my favorite episodes which was all of them and it was so good that i liked the bad guy thati am in the show it is a cool show hide « show »

  i wish the show was on i enjoyed it so much i would like to order it because it is great i enjoyed the whole show i wish that it was back on the sci-fi it was a great all right come on please put the show back on i enjoyed the show so much it should be back on the channel it is so great i hope it comes back soon because i enjoyed it so much that i would like to see it again and again like some other sci-fi shows and i would like to watch it again

  If I find Swamp Thing on the street, I will kill it. hide « show »

  I saw some episodes of this show on tape and I can describe it in one word: HORRIBLE. Firstly, who would make a show about a swamp monster that fights SUTPID looking mutants and lousy goons. Secondly, the show sucked, lousy special effects, losuy acting.
  In short, everything was lousy about this show. If I hadn't seen this show then I may have had some respect for Swamp Thing, but know I hate it more then I the smell of burnt popcorn.
  It was a f...ing show.

  An early 90's superhero show (well kinda, Swamp Thing really isn't your typical superhero) that epitomizes the sci-fi trend of the time. Not a terrible show, but with grade B effects, there are clearly much better ones out there. hide « show »

  An early 90's superhero show (well kinda, Swamp Thing really isn't your typical superhero) that epitomizes the sci-fi trend of the time. Not a terrible show, but with grade B effects, there are clearly much better ones out there. I will say this, the costume for Swamp Thing is very good for the show's time. It must have taken hours to put on all the make-up. Yet, the rest of the show's effects seem to be thrown together. The acting is generally sub par and the storylines just don't have that standard "make you want to be the hero" quality found in superhero shows. The other bad part about this show is that the scenery for each episode was roughly the same, as Swamp Thing rarely left the surroundings of the swamp. This plays for a dull sensation after watching numerous episodes. All in all, this was not a terrible show by any means, but it is far from great.
  
  My final review: The mix between superhero and sci-fi produces an interesting show but not a great show. If you like sci-fi, check this out. If you like superhero shows than there are much better ones out there to watch.
