T.R. was nominated in 2008 for a SAG Award along with his Grey's Anatomy castmates for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. (edit) On January 17, 2007 Knight went on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and expressed that what Isaiah Washington spoke about his sexuality was true. that he did call him . (edit) Knight was chosen as one of People Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive for 2007. (edit) Knight was in the picketers line in the 2007 Writers Guild Of America's strike. T.R. Knight(about his co-star Katherine Heigl's wedding): Incredible and beautiful.

(edit) T.R. Knight (on his short-lived romance with Meredith on Grey's Anatomy): Shonda [Rhimes] kept the bedroom scene a secret from us until the read-through. The script just said: 'Scene to be given at read-through.' It was kind of cool, everybody read it at the same time. So it made for quite an exciting read-through. Then you see how horrible it all turned out. (edit) T.R. Knight (on his struggle to establish himself in New York): It's just hard with New York rent to survive, even if you're lucky to be working. The last Off-Broadway show I did was like $187 a week. Luckily, I was able to get some commercial work every once in a while that would float me. (edit) T.R. Knight: I guess there have been a few questions about my sexuality, and I'd like to quiet any unecessary rumors that may be out there. While I prefer to keep my personal life private, I hope the fact that I'm gay isn't the most interesting part of me. (edit)
