Tahmoh has appeared on the cover pages of Starburst Special and Starburst magazines. He also did a photoshoot for Maxim. (edit) In the future, Tahmoh would love to be a director and a writer. (edit) Tahmoh is greatly influenced by actors Sean Penn and Marlon Brando. (edit) Tahmoh has been interested in martial arts since he was a child. He first studied judo and then enrolled in kickboxing after seeing a film with a Muay Thai master. I mean, Joss is the biggest there is, one of the brightest and most creative. I'm looking forward to working with Eliza, too. I'm really excited to start work on it. (edit) Tahmoh Penikett: (About the conflict with doing the rape scene on Battlestar Galactica) It’s a touchy subject. I think, I saw the finished product, and... you know. Whether we went over the line or not or whether it's interpreted or shown that way with the cut... I mean... that's really up to the individual. Personally when I still watch it, we never see them go in there with the intention of killing him. I mean they're not just purposely killing this guy. Obviously the Chief has anger issues but I don't think he purposely kills him. We go in there stopping whatever is about to happen and I definitely don't think we went over the line. (edit) Tahmoh Penikett: (About the direction of Helo in season 3 of Battlestar Galactica) To be honest with you, I just want to say that [they'll] keep it challenging and keep it a surprise, which has been the nature of this show already. That's been the pattern. It's always... I never know where they are going with it. So, I can tell you, I'm already in for some big surprises from what I hear when I come back and read the latest episodes. As long as they keep it interesting, you know what I mean? And dangerous too!
