Did anyone watch Spike Feresten on Saturday?  I didn't know about it until it came on after MadTV, but I actually thought it was pretty funny.

Does anyone know anything about him?

Yes, it was Gouda.  They had some great sketches, so it's the perfect dessert to Mad TV!  There is also a great bit on YouTube that's so brilliant!  Type "Spike Feresten Pluto," and get ready to roll. ;p

I only caught a little bit of Spike, but from the looks of it he's a brainier version of Carson Daly.

You're right. Carson Daly has that every man image that Spike has, too. Only Spike can actually tell a smart joke. Still waiting on that from Carson.

Carson seems like the type of guy that seems to prefer poker, women, and domestic beer. Spike comes off as the only member of your D&D club that actually has a girlfriend.

It's funnier than MAD TV! I thought the "Idiot Paparazzi" skit was hilarious! I also liked how Spike was able to maneuver Andy Richter into making fun of himself!

"Electric Lincoln" and "B.B.King Sings About His Other Ailments" were funny, too, I thought.
