Tania grew up in Knightsbridge, London, and is the youngest of three in a Jewish family. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Politics from Georgetown University, Washington DC, has lived in New York, Tokyo and Sydney, and speaks French fluently.

After selling advertising for Vogue magazine, Tania became a weathergirl on British breakfast television, then moved on to work as a showbiz interviewer on Sky TV. She now hosts UK television shows called Celebrity Extra and Dream Makers. Her show Basic Instincts (on Sky 1) is about human behaviour, and she is also a London correspondent for two CBS shows, Inside Edition and Entertainment Tonight. She was previously the host of the long running Showbiz Weekly, broadcast to over forty countries, and fronted The Entertainment Show with Tania Bryer, a Reuters Television production for Sky News. She was also a correspondent to Newsmaker, a weekly Sky News production, and co-produced and presented The Supermodels (BSkyB). On Good Morning With Anne and Nick, she presented a weekly round-up of entertainment news. She was also a presenter on Up Front with Fiona Armstrong for Meridian Television.

Tania is married to Tim Mouffarige, a sports agent, and they have a daughter called Natasha.
