Bobby has given himself three years to land a major gig as an actor from the time he arrived in Manhattan. The three years expires tonight.

When he doesn't get the job he had his heart set on, he pounds the pavement for more audtions, then the gang goes to his apartment that evening to hear the results. When Bobby doesn't get the jobs, Alex tries to make him feel better by telling him that maybe acting isn't his destiny after all. Bobby, angered, tells Alex off and kicks him out of his apartment - stopping him right before he walks out the door.

It turns out he was only acting angry and in the process convinces the gang that he is a great actor after all. He doesn't get any jobs, but decides to give himself another three years.

In a side plot, Alex saves a dog left in his cab from his abusive owner.
