Jeff is painting a beard to a poster of Doug Diamond in the teacher’s hall. Calvin tells Jeff that that guy is either his rival or his nemesis. Dick enters and tells Jeff that his rival is coming. Jeff explains that he’s not his rival, he just hates that guy, because he steals the time, he could spend with his students.
Calvin remembers Jeff that Doug once got the girl Jeff was in love with.
Alice walks in and makes her anger air about Doug, because she thinks someone testing the students is ridiculous. Jeff immediately agrees with her. Alice plans to disrupt the event with Doug in her own way.

Opening credits

Tina walks in the teacher’s lounge and Dick teases her that she’s late again.
Then Mitch informs Dick that he will need better testing score this time or he will be in deep trouble this time.
Dick calls Ms. Wiggins from his cell and pretends to be from the department of education. He tells her that Dick was selected to the state’s best teachers and so don’t have to take the test with his class.

In a class room the teachers wait for the seminar with Doug. In the last row Jeff, Calvin and Alice prepare to disturb this event.
Principal Wiggins presents them Mr. Diamond and tries to get close to him. So Doug starts with his annual speech and Jeff immediately starts to interrupt. Doug already knows this procedure and starts a private conversation with him. Doug turns back to everyone and explains that when the testing scores go up, the funding goes up as well.
At the end of the event, Ms. Wiggins calls for Tina, because she’s missing her teacher’s credentials. Tina tells her that will be no problem.
Ms Wiggins warns Tina not to lay a hand on Doug.
Tina tells Jeff that she doesn’t have those credentials. So Jeff tells her that it will be a long way back to Tijuana. She tells him that she didn’t take the final exam, because she already got that job. She asks him who he will turn with his racism, when she’s gone.

Doug and Alice are walking trough the school halls. Doug tells her that he’s the good guy and not Jeff. They talk about the school funding. Doug starts to flirt with Alice, then Jeff interrupts and Doug walks away as fast as he can. Alice starts to question Jeff’s ideas. Jeff tells her that he never used any of Doug’s gimmicks and his students were the best three years in a raw. Alice is surprised.

In the evening the teachers and Doug meet again in a diner for a couple of beers. Jeff immediately starts to play "The devil went down to Georgia" form the Juke box. Doug already knows that procedure also and ignores it.
Alice thanks Doug for visiting her class earlier that morning.
At the bar Tina takes the tequila shot from Dick and drinks it herself. Doug makes some racism comments again, but Tina tells him that tomorrow will be a phone conference with Ms Wiggins and she will be fired.

Principal Wiggins enters all dressed up and planning to get Doug drunk. She runs into Jeff and tells him that his class isn’t the best this year. He was beaten by Alice.
Calvin steps by and so Ted and Calvin start searching for Alice. They find her kissing Doug in a darker area of the dinner.

In the parking lot Jeff can’t believe that. He’s really hurt. Calvin supposes that Doug faked the test scores, to get to him.
So they start to break in to Doug’s car. Calvin is afraid, because he thinks that the police will only lock him up, because he’s black.
Calvin tries to open the door trough the partially open window, but gets stuck in it. Jeff just opens the door, because the car isn’t locked.
Jeff starts to search the trunk, when Doug and Alice come out. Jeff flees the scene and Calvin sees him already in jail.

Mrs Wiggins is in her office, when Tina enters. The phone conference already started. Ms Wiggins presents all parties and Tina immediately recognises that Dick is playing all roles on the phone.
So the “teacher’s school principal” played by Dick inform them that all credentials were destroyed by the flood. So Tina’s gone as well. The characters Dick plays start a virtual to distract Ms Wiggins. She has to defend herself, because she hired her without seeing the credentials. So Wiggins and the virtual parties on the phone agree to let it go and so Tina can go on teaching.
The last thing Dick tells over the phone is that his virtual female character complains about the sexism of Ms Wiggins, when a student enters and puts Dick in an awkward position. He threatens the student to forget everything.

In the teacher’s lounge Jeff seats himself next to Alice. Jeff wants an apology, but Alice blows him off and she tells him that she’s going out with him. When she wants to leave, Jeff asks her: “If Doug so much cares about these kids, why doesn’t he want to be a teacher by himself?”
So she starts thinking about this for the first time.

In the hallway Alice meets Doug again. He tells her that she can beat him in the test easy when she encourages her weaker students not to show up. He even tells her that he didn’t count the worst five scores in the practice test, so she would be better than Jeff. Alice is shocked to hear that. Doug tries to explain that with higher scores, the school gets more money.
Mitch steps by and threatens Doug the let his hands of Ms Wiggins.

In the diner Tina enters and buys Dick a drink. He insults her again, but she thanks him for saving her job. She hugs him. She also tells him that she will take the test in a few weeks.

Jeff and Calvin are discussing Alice and Doug’s relationship. Jeff goes to the bar to get another drink, when he runs into Alice. She complains about Doug. Jeff is happy. He’s even happier, when she tells him that his test scores where higher than hers.

They start to dance and Calvin chooses "The devil went down to Georgia" again.
