Simple storyline. Not an exciting show, however, this episode deliver a fairly good entertainment. hide show

In the previous episodes, the main casts of Teachers are as flat as a sheet of newspaper. The only admirable one is Jeff. And in this episode, the character of each cast is builing up. I can sense the progress to see the cast and writer improving. They start to add in wordplay, which is what they really need in such a sitcom. I love the part Jeff and Calvin trying to break in the representative's car. The "this is exactly when a black got caught" part made me laugh so hard!

However, I am still worried Teachers will be cut off because of the CBS's brilliant new sitcom, How I Met Your Mother. I just put some more attention on this show because of this episode.

This show is way too Cliché. hide show

In this episode Jeff, Calvin, and Alice try to make fun of a testing representative. Jeff hates this guy from way back when and so does everything to annoy him. But Alice likes what he is talking about and falls for him. HE tells Alice that her class did the best on the standardize test. Jeff is distort when he finds Alice and his enemy making out, and tries to break into his car so that he can look at the tests which he believes that his enemy manipulated so that Alice would win. When he is caught breaking into the car Alice is very angry with Jeff, and this makes Jeff even more depressed. Also Dick leans that Tina may get fired and so helps her out in a very claver way…must watch to see what happens.

Jeff tries to get Alice on his side against a testing instructor, and Tina finds out Dick has a soft side. hide show

This was an interesting episode about testing and whether or not it is necessary to have people teach to a test. The debate over whether teaching to a test is learning is a completely different topic.

I like the idea that Dick isn't a complete a-hole, but does it bother anyone else that Sarah Shahi is Iranian but they keep calling her Mexican?

There were some well-timed jokes and the storyline was solid. I'm not sure the plot advanced any, but it did bring up some good arguments for supporting underappreciated public school teachers.

Some people think that this show is doing a disservice to the profession, but I actually think that it is doing a good thing. Just as Desperate Housewives is a satire on an underappreciated demographic, Teachers is attempting to mainstream a group that has largely been ignored.

Very good episode but not the best. hide show

The last two weeks were awesome for this show. The "shoololympics" and "golf" both were phenomenal.

This week was not AS GOOD but still very hilarious. I can't remember all the gags but I know Calvin was great as usual. The Dick character keeps on getting more stange, which is good although I didn't really like the story with Tina too much. But everything else with Jeff, Alice and that other guy were really really good.

I also loved the ending in the bar when Alice and Jeff wanna dance and Calvin plays that horrible music. He got a kick out of that one.

Overall I really enjoyed it, despite it not being as good as the last two eps.

    Looking forward to the finale!!!

    Average hide show

This was great but at the same time could of been better, i felt that the consistancy of jokes that they have used in the spisodes before had thinned in this episode, There wernt many really good ones, and as i watched it, it didnt really make e laugh, i did enjoy the bit where dick pretends to be the president of teh school bored on the phone, i know its only been 4 episodes but we can start to see where the production wants the diffrent charactors to go, very good show in general i hope to see much more of it.
