Feels more like a really long episode than a movie, still entertaining nonetheless. hide show

After the awful "Things Change", I was pretty much done with Teen Titans. I didn't watch this movie, until recently, how is it? Well, it's a lot, A LOT better than "Things Change" and this should've been the series finale. Starfire and Robin kiss, yeah, who saw that coming? I'm glad it finally happened, not because I care that much about the pairing, but it was becoming annoying on the show, how they kept stalling the inevitable. The movie delves into some quite distrbing territory towards the end with some creepy elements, of course much appreciated. The Catgirl was an awesome villain, as brief as her screen time was. The action scenes were awesome, as expected. The mystery villain was really predictable. Some of the jokes fell completely flat, the Beast Boy karaoke was particularly pointless. My biggest gripe however was that it felt like a really long episode, th animation and the fight scenes weren't noticeably better. It didn't feel like a movie in those departments, but the music delivered big time and when the instrumental Teen Titans theme kicked in during the biggest fights, then it felt like a movie. It also dragged a bit in the middle, but this is one good Teen Titans adventure.

For fans of Teen Titans it's a good watch, and a solid way to end the series.

I actually liked this movie. It was hilarious and cute. hide show

Great movie. Well, at least it wasn't a 2-part episode, it was actually a full movie, and I enjoyed almost all of it. I loved the fact that Beast Boy was trying to pick up girls and got called "Otaku" which he didn't know was a Japanese insult. He also had a hilarious voice, especially when he was singing the direct translation of the japanese teen titans theme. This episode kinda reminded me of one InuYasha episode, but it was actually pretty good, better than I expected. The only thing that bothered me was Starfire and Robin trying to kiss. They tryed it 3 times and were unsuccessful because they wanted some alone time. At least the whole series wasn't Robin and Starfire trying to kiss or kissing and at the end BOOM! Kiss! Again! This was way better, and that was the only part that bothered me. And the singing at the end, that was hilarious! I'm giving this episode a 9, because it was excellent, except for the annoying kissing part. :)

    8 Great

The Titans are attacked by a foreign enemy which leads them to Tokyo. hide show

I know my review says average, but I really enjoyed this movie but it does only have that "average" teen titan quality. Don't get me wrong, it was a fun thing to watch, I even own the movie on DVD and I really loved the teen titans series. I guess what I wanted was something that would blow everything out of the water, you know everything coming to the finish, things being answered from the show that left questions. Oh well. When I say "average" teen titan quality, I mean that in all respects as a compliment because the show has the ability to be at times "avearge", "great", and even "fantasic". This movie was the "average", but at least entertaining and I can say I enjoyed watching it a lot more a second time. Of course that's after I got over that it's not about a huge finish and just more about what you remember from the show to begin with: Superheroes, action, drama, fun, and a lot of explosions. What else could you ask for? Well, I wouldn't have minded seeing Slade again.

    :love it: hide show

I looove this series so much and I'm just so sad it's over! This episode (movie-thing) was definality one of my favs (including Forever, and Go!) I was so happy to have Robin and Starfire get together.

I was laughing so hard at the irony used in this movie. Like when that girl said 'otaku' to Beast Boy and he taught she said he was cute, but actually called him a geek xD I was glad there were japanese in this movie, it made me feel so special when my american-born friend was like 'uh...what did it say...?' and I could translate it perfectly xD I love Teen Titans and this episode/movie/thing was definality a good way to finish the series =3

Teen Titans - Trouble in Tokyo, the movie hide show

    Well, well, well...
    I Don't know what say...maybe because the movie has told everything !!! =^_^= !!! eh,eh,eh!
A stupid inked-Ninja started to destroy the city and the Titans Tower, but fortunately our heroes stop him!
After a lot of things, finally happens what TT fans were waiting for : "The Robin and Starfire's moments".
    The first, start very well, but ends with a stupid Robin who don't profit by the situation;
The second time, They were synkronized, but SOMEONE, the stupid Beast Boy (who I use to call him "Mr. Don't open that Door" for that) who interrupt the moment...Aaargh!!!
I'll kill you, MR DON'T OPEN THAT DOOR!!!
And the third Moment was the most beautiful, among the three!
    They finally kiss!!!
    Yeah!I'm dreaming!!!
    No, I'm not dreaming!
    I'm crying!Yes...sigh!I'm crying!!! I'M HAPPY, NOW!!!
