Jan performs monologues and show clips from from the 9/23/1953 episode of The Buick-Berle Show featuring Frank Sinatra and Tallulah Bankhead.

Berle missed this week's show. On Monday, he was admitted to the hospital suffering from another bout of exhaustion. Singer Vic Damone was first announced as Berle's replacement, but Jan Murray was flown from New York to Los Angeles for the job. Eddie Cantor was also scheduled to appear as a guest, but he became ill and did not perform. (edit)
