It’s Veteran’s Day and the Formans are getting ready for their annual barbeque after the town parade. Trouble is that Bob, who was only in the National Guard and never saw any action, has inexplicably decided to throw his own barbeque in competition with the Formans. Hyde tells Jackie point blank that he’s not interested, inspiring her to bring a date to the Formans’ to make him jealous. This ploy causes Hyde to come to a horrifying realization about his true feelings for Jackie.

My heart aches with pain
When I see you, I vomit
Die, away from me.
Donna: Ouch!
Hyde: Sayonara. (he leaves)
Jackie: Donna, never have 17 syllables hurt me so much! (edit) Donna: Well, ya know what? You're an ass, and your dad's an ass, and the ass doesn't fall far from the ass tree! Ooh, I said it, what, what? (edit)
