This episode marks the first of two unrelated appearances by William Frankfather. In this episode, he appears as Neil Sullivan. Later, he will be seen as the man at the water pumping station in Water, Water Everywhere. (edit) This is the only episode in which Amy, Face, and Murdoch all drive the A-Team van. (B.A. is injured.) (edit) This is the viewers' first glimpse of the Team's ability to build anything from nearly nothing. Turning the abandoned real estate office into a makeshift (and booby-trapped) sheriff's office gives credibility to those odd things the Team will build in future episodes. (edit)

This episode is strikingly similar to an episode of Knight Rider that aired some months before this one, which was similarly titled "Good Day at White Rock". Both episodes deal with our protagonists visiting small towns (Bad Rock here and White Rock in Knight Rider), which are both invaded by motorcycle gangs. Both protagonists then save the day by getting rid of their respective motorcycle gangs. Also, in both episodes, the towns' officers initially think the protagonists are up to no good, but then eventually help them get rid of the motorcycle gangs later on. (edit) Just before the first commercial break, the biker gang speeds out of a restaurant parking lot. Ten minutes later, they roar into a restaurant parking lot, where the A-Team spots them. It's the same restaurant. (The Chevron station in the background is a dead giveaway).

This diner, Castaic Junction Restaurant, located at the junction of US 99 and SR 126, used to be Tip's Restaurant, where James Dean ate shortly before his fatal crash on September 30, 1955. (edit) Hannibal: B.A., he's the only donor we have, unless we're gonna get you into Cedars-Sinai.
