Martin James: Have you heard this poem? The time of right is the goal of the fight. The Lord will prevail where evil shall wail.
Hannibal: Have you heard this poem? Hickory Dickory Dock, the mouse ran up the clock. The clock struck one, down he run, you smell worse than my socks.
(edit) Hannibal: I believe it was General Grant who once said: When you are surrounded and outnumbered, there's only one way out.
Amy: Yeah? And what's that?
Hannibal: Surrender. (edit) Amy: We need your help - he's injured.
Farmer: Look, there's nothing we can do to help you. We don't even have a phone. My daughter and I have lived here for the past five years, alone...
B.A.: We comin' in, Jack! Now get the first aid kit before you have to use it on yourself! (edit) B.A.: Hannibal, why you gotta go and bust Faceman in the lip for? You know if you make him ugly, it'll mess up our meal ticket. Won't be able to get no more good hotel rooms. (edit) Hannibal: These boots are hard to get. (edit)

Goof:
Right after Hannibal says, "I love it when a plan comes together," there is a shot over the top of the A-Team van, facing the guys in brown robes holding guns on the van. A voice says, "Get out of that van with your hands up" -- but no one's mouth is moving in the shot. (edit) During the fight in town at the beginning of the episode, watch the baseball bat carefully. In most of the shots, it is a foam bat, which gets floppy if not held correctly. Watch the way George Peppard takes it from Melinda Culea; even though he tries to hold it steady, it still wobbles a little at the top as he swings away from her. The floppiness is most evident as Dirk Benedict takes it from Peppard (watch how it arcs a little around his hand), and just before Benedict throws it down at the end of the fight (the end wobbles visibly). (edit) Goof:
When Hannibal gets out of the van in the camp, his handcuffs are open. He closes them by himself. (edit) Episode took place in:
Redwood, CA (edit) They would actually reuse the concept of Monks with guns in the fifth season episode "Crystal Skull." (edit)

Hannibal says, "Throw down your weapons and put your hands on your head, or I'll turn you all into burning bushes!" This is a reference to the burning bush in the Bible (Exodus, chapter 3).
(edit)
Face says, "Nuttier than an almond bar." The popular saying is actually "Nuttier than an Almond Joy" -- but for obvious reasons, the saying is slightly altered in this episode to avoid comparing a popular candy bar to a villain!
(edit)
Face says, "Nah, it's just a flesh wound." This echoes the Black Knight's famous line from Monty Python and the Holy Grail: "It's just a flesh wound."
(edit)
Face says, "I will fear no evil. Thy rod and thy AR-15 shall comfort me, right, guys?" This is an allusion to Psalm 23:4: "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me."
(edit)
The title is an allusion to "Children of Jonestown," a book written by Kenneth Wooden about the "People's Temple" cult, their leader, Jim Jones, and the 1978 massacre in Jonestown, Guyana.
