  • Goof: When the dune buggies first intercept the bus at the beginning of the episode, they jump out in front of the bus just as it's passing a big, crooked tree. Three shots later, the dune buggies and the bus pass the same tree again before the dune buggies force the bus to stop. []
  • Murdock: I thought history was the accumulated events of mankind. I mean, otherwise, it would've been in the papers, right, guys?
B.A.: You wanna read something in the paper, fool, you check out tomorrow's obituary column. []
  • B.A.: I'm gonna have to talk to Hannibal about putting me out here in the desert with nobody but you, sucker.
Murdock: You know, you use that word quite frequently in reference to me. []
  • Hannibal: Face, you surprise me. Now where is that indominable thrust? I mean, you could go in there and convince her that you could turn cabbages into carrots. You're magic, kid. Right, B.A.?
B.A.: Yeah, man, I get the chills just by lookin' at him. []
More Quotes
  • While Murdock is listening to the conversation at the prison between Lila and Al, he takes notes in a small notebook. On the notebook page is a drawing of Kilroy.

Most sources believe that the image of Kilroy (which is often accompanied by the written phrase "Kilroy was here") originated during World War II. The drawing has remained popular with U.S. servicemen to the present day. []
  • Hannibal: (grabs Driscoll) Okay, Darth. I'll tell you how it is.

Darth Vader first appeared in the original 1977 Star Wars movie; like Driscoll, he hid his face within a dark helmet. []
  • Murdock: (to the slot machine) Okay, Mr. Party Animal. I have time for one more. This time, I want the cherries jubilee.

Murdock is doing a vocal impression of Jack Nicholson's character, McMurphy, in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. []
