Episode Cast and Crew

View All
  • The building used for the exterior shots of Tawnia's apartment is the Mirabella, located at 10430 Wilshire Blvd.

When Face (or his stunt double) gets thrown off the building, those shots were filmed at the rear of the building, which faces Ashton Ave. However, when Tawnia looks down from the balcony (along with the bad guys), those shots were filmed from a balcony on the front of the building, facing the corner of Wilshire Blvd. and Holmby Ave. []
  • While Raymond and Carson are talking atop the Intermode building, a large ship is visible in the distance. That ship is the Queen Mary, one of the largest ocean liners in the world. She made her first voyage in 1936, provided military transport during World War II, and has been on permanent display in Long Beach since 1967.

The ship is also visible later in the episode, through the window in Ron's office. []
  • The Intermode building in this episode is actually the ARCO Center in Long Beach. []
More Trivia
  • This is Tawnia Baker's first appearance. []
  • Carson: You'll never get out of this place.
Hannibal: Yeah? We got in easy enough. We'll just do the same thing backwards. []
  • Hannibal: You got any idea where they took her?
Face: Yeah, well, it was a little tough to hear. I was listening to the chlorine ruin my clothes. []
  • (Face has just been thrown from a tenth-story window)
Face: So anyway, Hannibal, she was kidnapped from her apartment and me: I was thrown from a tenth-story window.
Hannibal: Now, Face, you don't have to exaggerate to make your point. []
More Quotes
  • As Tawnia walks past the dumpster where Murdock is hiding, he pops out, gun drawn.

Murdock: Hold it! You have to pay a toll -- or the Cookie Monster will eat you. Mmm.

Murdock blends two allusions here. The Cookie Monster on Sesame Street lived in a trashcan (smaller than a dumpster, but same idea). In the Norwegian fairy tale "Three Billy Goats Gruff," a troll lives under a bridge and eats anyone who tries to cross; the three billy goats outwit and defeat him. []
  • Murdock: Now it's gonna be like flying a Brink's truck.

Brink's, Incorporated, has been providing armored transportation since the company's founding in 1859 in Chicago. []
  • Face: Well, uh, the guys and I will have this place smelling like Hawaii before you can say, "Tiny Bubbles."

"Tiny Bubbles" was a 1966 hit made famous by Hawaiian singer Don Ho. []
