This episode has a mulitude of references to co-star Robert Vaughn's former series The Man From U.N.C.L.E. including a guest appearence by his co-star David McCullium, the word 'Uncle' in the title, the format of the episode title ("U.N.C.L.E." episode titles were usually in the format of 'The Subject Of This Week's Episode Affair'), Vaughn opening Channel D, and the bright swirly lights which seperated the episode scenes.
