This week's task is making a cake and selling it at a wedding expo. And outside of the task, one candidate makes an inappropriate comment to Charles, and another one learns that his wife just had a baby.

In a conference room twist, Martha calls Bethenny, Jim, and Shawn back to the conference room after Project Manager David lets them go because she feels they were more responsible for Matchstick's loss than Dawn and Marcela were. Shawn ends up being fired for her careless bravado.

The title refers to the line "fake it 'till you make it," which Shawn used to describe the TV news business. Martha replied that there is no faking it in her business.
