NBC is a little stingy on releasing things to DVD, with the Law & Order franchises the exception. I'm still waiting for my Crossing Jordan and Medium ones!!

Do you really think they would've let it die if it was a giant hit?

So saying that they only planned to do one season all along is bull****!

This show was given one of the highest ad-rates of all of television this season ($310,000). This was the highest of any new show. The ratings (obviously) have not held up to the expectations (it got beat by Trading Spouses on Fox last week). I agree, if the show had been a huge hit it probably would have been renewed, despite what NBC says now.

I certainly wish the powers that be would reconsider. I love the show. I just don't think they ever gave it a fair shake with the scheduling.

The ratings are so low, scheduling has nothing to do with it - besides - it's original timeslot had no competition - Oh yeah, and Martha hates it too ..

Where did you hear or read that? And why does she hate it?

(Maybe she just did it as an entry back into the good graces of the American public after her jail time.)

martha is simply too soft.

I don't think she has ever said the word "fired" of "eliminated" in her life.

I too love this show and I am gonna miss it.
Let's hope that NBC's sister network Bravo will pick it up, hopefully the word gets to them or they have thought about it and I too would love to see this on DVD especially with the deleted scenes and the exit interviews!!

Sorry I read the same thing. I can't remember where I read it but it was a credible place. I remember trying to decide how accurate it was and deciding it was because of the source. I think she is distancing herself from it because the rating are so bad.

She said that she and Donald aren't really friends they are just aquaintences and acted like friends for the good of the show. She said that she never had anything to do with the people that were picked for the show, and she can't believe that she had to pick from one of the "rediculous people" that they picked for the show. She also said that she had nothing to do with the show. They said she didn't pick the tasks they had to do. She said the only thing she did for the show was say what they had scripted for her to say. According to her she showed up said what she was told to and got to go home, other then that she had nothing to do with the show.

I read some of it and I heard the rest in an interview with someone. They played it on the radio the other day, I am not sure it was something she knew was being recorded or not, but she said it and I heard it, I was shocked.

So even if there was a second season (which I am sure the ONLY reason they are saying that is because they didn't get picked up and they are trying to make it look like it was their plan the whole time) I don't think I could watch it after what I read and heard her say... Even if something you do doesn't work out you can't dump on it and everyone working very hard for it and you... Thought it was amazingly discrespectful.

UUMMMMM have you ever heard anything about her that you have not seen on one of her shows??? I don't mean to be a Martha Kill Joy here because I liked the show and wanted it to succeed. But I long ago lost the idea that Martha was soft.

I did have a few links here to some of her "not to nice side" but decided I wasn't trying to vilify her. I just wanted to comment on a post that I saw. However I also dont' want to come accross as someone who is just trying to slam her without knowing anything so if you would like those links I will provide them.
