Mrs Peel: It just went with a wallop!
(She giggles, after opening an over-enthusiastic bottle of champagne that spills all over her) (edit)
Mrs Peel: Do I assume then that before long everybody will be walking on ceilings? (Tutting and shaking her head) It’ll ruin the carpet trade.
(edit)
Steed: Boots?
Mrs. Peel: Does that ruin your theory?
Steed: I have two possible alternatives: The murderer inflates a small balloon, he rises up the nearest building. He fires a small rocket line across to the penthouse. He drops on a trampoline. He bounces on it, in through the window. Possibility number one.
Mrs. Peel: And possibility number two?
Steed: He bribes the doorman.
(edit)

Trivia

add »
Comic artist Frank Bellamy drew the cartoon storyboards of The Winged Avenger that were used in this episode.
(edit)
Tag: Arriving home Emma pops a champagne cork as Steed, in the background, busies himself by sketching a canvas. When revealed, it is a drawing of the feast Steed has promised her. Leaving the room, Steed returns with a food trolley containing a gourmet's delight. To the PING of cymbals the meal is served. (edit)
When Mrs. Peel finally defeats the Winged Avenger, he falls from the ceiling out of a window -- sideways. (edit)
