Drysdale tells an IRS man the story of the Clampetts and how they got to be where they are today. But Granny and Jed don’t trust this man because they think he is a revenuer, and refuse to let him on the property. But Drysdale helps him get in good, and they end-up eating leftovers – mustard greens and possum innards.

Where Elly talks to the deer in the forest before she and the family goes to Beverly Hills, it is not seen in the original first episode. Also, where Mr. Drysdale talks through the intercom at the front gate of the mansion and Jed is in the house and thinks that Mr. Drysdale is inside the wall is not seen in any episode of the first season.
