(A girl now joins in on the dancing)
Jed: It's worse than I thought. Now he is chasin' a girl, and she ain't got no clothes on neither. (edit)
(Granny comes home angry because she did not meet any movie stars)
Elly: How many movie stars did ya see?
Granny: I didn't see none!
Jed: Well, how come? Didn't Jethro take you around to all the homes?
Granny: Oh yeah. Must've been to a dozen of em, with love in my heart and a smile on my face. And what do ya think I got fer my trouble?! I got door slammed, butler sassed, and dog bit!
Jed: Dog bit?
Granny: Yeah! Dog bit!!!
(Granny lifts her dress to show the tear the dog bit her at) (edit)
Granny: (reaching for her jug under the bed) That's the first one of them that ever grabbed me back! (edit)
Jed: Say Granny, they got a lot of fellas on here. Why not have a barn dance and invite them to?
Granny: That's a good idea. Is there enough fellas to pair off for a square dance?
Jed: Let's see. There's Danny Kay, Gray Bolger, Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire. Might even be a tolerable dancer in the bunch. (edit)
Mrs. Drysdale: Mr. Clampett, Granny, may I speak to you about the ballet?
(Meanwhile, Granny is telling Jed why she is leaving Beverly Hills)
Granny: (yelling) How yould ya like to have the door slammed in your face?! Get chased off the property?! How would ya like to have the dog sicked on ya?!
(Mrs. Drysdale leaves in fear) (edit)
