Alexander Singer won an Emmy for directing the episode with McGavin called "The Invasion of Kevin Ireland." Guy Stockwell played the Joseph Campanella role in the first pilot movie. "The Lawyers" was on Sunday nights on NBC for three years beginning in 1969. It was on after "Bonanza".
