Notes

add »
Florence Henderson, Barry Williams and Ann B. Davis are the only three cast members to appear in all 117 episodes of the series. In second place are Maureen McCormick, Eve Plumb, Christopher Knight, Mike Lookinland and Susan Olsen who appeared in 116/117 episodes, and in third place is Robert Reed who appeared in 115/117 episodes. (edit)
This is Cousin Oliver's final appearance with the Brady's, as he is not seen in any of the reunions nor is he mentioned in any of them, which I thought was strange since he did live with the Brady's. You would think he and his parents would be at Marcia and Jan's double wedding, especially considering that Mike & Carol took Oliver in when Jack & Pauline went out of the country. (edit)
In the original subplot, Marcia and Peter were supposed to argue over who gets the attic when Greg goes away to college. Robert Reed's refusal to appear in this episode caused this to change. In the tag, it was detemined that Marcia and Peter would bet on which college Greg would attended. (edit)
Studio security wanted to remove Mr. Reed from the set but the producers wouldn't allow it. They didn't want to upset the kids. (edit)
In the first scene, the message on the chalkboard in the kitchen was: "Jan call Eve" (edit)

Quotes

add »
Greg: Tomorrow's graduation, and I have orange hair! (edit)

Carol: "Did Thomas Edison quit?"

Bobby: "No."

Carol: "How about the Wright Brothers! Did they quit?"

Bobby: "No."

Carol: "And how about Carl Mahakian?"

Bobby: "Carl Mahakian? Never heard of him."

Carol: "Thats right - cause he quit!"

(edit)
Oliver: You know something, Cindy?
Cindy: What?
Oliver: I think your mom has a problem discussing sex. (edit)

Trivia

add »
The middle aged woman under the hair dryer at the beauty parlor is Mildred Schwartz, Sherwood Schwartz' wife. (edit)
This is the third time Hope Sherwood would change her role on the show. First she was Jenny Wilton, then Rachel, now Gretchen. (edit)
Throughout the entire episode, Greg states that graduation is "tomorrow." However, when he is in the beauty parlor, there are two girls from his class who just got their hair done. They clearly state that graduation is "tonight." (edit)

Allusions

add »
Peter: He looks just like Lucille Ball

When Peter first saw Greg's red dyed hair, he said this to his mom.

Lucille Ball was the first lady of television starring in I love Lucy which she and her husband Desi Arnaz play Lucy and Ricky Ricardo & Fred and Ethel Mertz.
The two couples had misadventures on the show which ran from 1951-1957 (edit)
