Episode Summary

Bobby has been following Peter and his friends around, wanting to join their tree house club. They finally decide to let him in, but Bobby falls from the tree and sprains his ankle. Mike and Carol buy him a parakeet, to cheer him up, but Bobby soon develops a fear of heights. This prompts the Brady family to go to great lengths to try to cure his fear, including borrowing a trampoline and Greg making stilts.

A very interesting episode hide show

This episode is really interesting because it shows you how fear can change a persons life. Since it was Peter and his friends idea for Bobby to join their club -but only to clean it- they should have realized that once he finds out what they were doing to him he would leave. If they hadn't wanted Bobby to join he never would have fell. It's funny how they tried everything they could to get Bobby over his fear. The funniest thing was Alice on the trampeline which almost made Bobby come down and jump. Mike thinking that Bobby climbing up the ladder to give him a screwdriver is hilarious especially considering Bobby used the stars inside and gave it to him through the window. I'm glad they used Tiger and the bird to help Bobby climb again and get over his fear.

  • Bobby is laying on Greg's bed while recuperating from his sprained ankle, instead of the bottom bunk where he always slept. []
  • This is the only time Bobby's pet parakeet is seen. []
  • Look closely as Bobby is watching Alice on the trampoline. Clearly it is a stand in wearing a maid's outfit, not really Ann B Davis. []
More Trivia
  • This episode is the final appearance of Tiger out of production order. He may appear in "The Impratical Joker" but this episode was shot and filmed after such an episode. []
