The Evil Touch is an anthology series dealing with the effects of the "little bit of evil in all of us" (as show host/narrator Anthony Quayle reminded everyone each week). The series was filmed in and around Sydney, Australia. Each episode starred a well-known American actor with Australian talent in supporting roles (most episodes were set in the US, with most of the Australian actors assuming American accents).
The Evil Touch was syndicated in US markets during the 1973-74 season, though most, if not all, episodes carry a 1972 copyright date. Many of the American guest stars appeared in more than one of the twenty-six episodes (Darren McGavin appearing in three), as did some of the Australian talent (Jack Thompson also appearing in three).
